This painting is absolutely magical. The art is bursting with happiness and joy, with penguins and polar bears celebrating Christmas Eve in the most adorable way. The polar bear cub's eyes are full of wonder as it unwraps a present, and the penguins are having the time of their lives jumping in and out of the sparkling water and going down the ice slide. An elf sits on the cold bank casting her fishing reel with a candy cane on the end for the little fish to nibble on.
The intricate snowflakes and Santa flying through the sky with the Northern Lights / aurora-borealis in the background make this painting a truly whimsical and nostalgic piece. The colors are so vibrant and lively, they practically jump off the canvas.
Every time I look at this painting, I can't help but feel a joyful child-like feeling wash over me. Flat Photo Print (Signed)
Printed on high quality thick photo paper, these come hand signed by Dakota and ship the fastest. They will need to be framed before hanging as they are a flat rolled print. They are the most affordable option.
Dakota makes both of these prints in house, these are not made by some big box retailer. She makes sure each one is hand crafted with care, from the making of the wood frame (for canvas), stretching, stapling, signing... all done by her! The photo and canvas prints are made in her house on her 44" commercial giclee printer with high quality pigment, museum grade archival inks. She takes the time to make sure you will get the highest quality print possible.
