Dakota painted this piece in her studio in the summer of 2019. Growing up, Dakota loved to read and used books as a way to escape into a fantasy world where things are better. She still does this today, having listened to thousands of audiobooks while she paints. The little girl in the middle, "Hazel" sits on her throne and reads. The image on the right is Hazel's room, where you can see an abundance of books, toys, and a tea party. On the left of the painting is everything from the right, except in magic form (or in her imagination.) This painting makes a GREAT gift for people who love to read, libraries, schools....
