About the art: "Redwood Starry Night" -Original Oil Painting by Dakota Daetwiler - 30x40 inches on canvas.
I loved painting this so much! It's such a break from my normal finely detailed pieces. I channeled my inner Van Gogh and combined his big bold swirly brush strokes with the beautiful redwoods of the North Coast. I kind of want to paint like this all the time, I have to admit! 
A beautiful waterfall flows in the center of this Van Gogh Starry Night inspired painting. Behind it, the stars and crescent moon swirl with bright bold colors of blue, gold, and yellow hues. The night time forest is shown below with a rock cliff, a cascading river, boulders, redwood tree trunks, ferns and even some clovers. 
Enjoy! This is definitely a "statement piece" for a home. I'm definitely enjoying it hanging on my wall in our entry way until it's sold!
