Each tee shirt showcases a scene based on Dakota's painting of a giant blue octopus with an island for a head, it reaches one tentacle up above the water to grasp a passing by pirate ship. Waves crash on the island with trees on it, floating rocks can be seen nearby, as well as the infamous lion fish you can find in a lot of Dakota's work. All of this is captured in Dakota's hand carved shirt stamp which she lovingly applies to each shirt herself.

What sets these shirts apart is not just the playful design, but the handcrafted nature of the printing process itself. Dakota personally does every step, from carving the linocut block to carefully applying each layer of ink. The result?
